Many Giraffecycle members have or have known someone who has struggled with poor mental health and addiction. It’s incredibly difficult to accept the loss of potential – and sometimes even the loss of life – that results from these conditions.

Our friend Christina Martin is touring in memory of her brother, Stephane Andre Martin, who passed away unexpectedly after a long struggle with addiction and mental health issues. Stephane and Christina grew up in the communities of Saint John, Rothesay, and Fredericton. We love when she comes to visit and share her music, so we hope to help her raise awareness of St. Clares housing in Toronto, where Stephane found a home and community. Christina’s tour will be raising money for St. Clares on behalf of Stephane.
