I've installed iTunes and imported my music library... but I'm still trying to figure out what's so great about it compared with other players. Anyone? |

There are 3 different versions of it depending on how many features you need. The smallest one does me just fine. |
| sixteenth avenue | Posted On 17-04-05 01:35:49 Subject: RE: What program do you use to listen to music on yer 'puter? ITunes seems a tad more user friendly then Windows Media Player ever did. It could be because I am on a faster computer with a much larger hard drive but it seems alot quicker with importing and is just alot more enjoyable because it's mainly audio as opposed to Media Player which got confusing and irritating. |

| cgradio clarkus | Posted On 17-04-05 10:52:01 Subject: RE: What program do you use to listen to music on yer 'puter The greatest thing about iTunes is the smart playlists. Also, I find it's really great if you have a lot of full albums (like I do) instead of just a lot of downloaded songs, as it is really easy to search through them fast. I find that it can use a fair bit of memory, but if I'm doing something that needs it (like running computer models) I'm generally not listening to music anyway. Also, it's quite good at ripping, but the big downside is that there is always a space between songs, which can be a pain if you have an album that flows right from one song to the next. I'm not sure if this happens with other ripping programs or not, but I assume it must. |
