Colour TV is a three-piece rock band I started in Halifax a year and a half ago. I play guitar and sing and write the songs.
The bass player Jim is also in the Holy Shroud, who just got signed to Level Plane and have been off touring around the States. Nick the drummer has just joined Jimmy Swift Band--a pretty hectic touring gig. And I moved to Chipman, NB to live in the middle of nowhere.
It doesn't look like I'll be playing with the guys much in the next while. So I was wondering if there was any chance of finding a suitable rhythm section in NB to jam out the songs and play a few shows in the area.
I don't expect to find musicians as good as Nick and Jim. I'd be happy with some hard-driving rock players with good rhythm, good gear and no desire to wank around. Influences include Fugazi and Gang Of Four.

I like and want to play that style of music. I can play the drums. I don't work and have a large car I can transport gear in.

BTW in my original post when I wrote "as good as" perhaps I should have written "as well-suited to the style of music" ...just so no one thinks I'm casting aspersions on anyone's goodness.
After practice we can all go outside and walk around together, preferably holding hands.
Just in case you haven't checked your personal forum in a while, I have about a dozen Equation of State albums sitting on my desk. Who should they go to? I bet you could find them a good home...

fugazi and gang of four have little in common with tool. what is hard to understand about that? someone mentions the miracle band tool in any way that isn't sucking maynard's dick and people here get all fussy about it.
